1. What is Guojiao 1573?
Guojiao 1573 is a specially made commemorative baijiu product in honor of 1573 national treasure wineries which is included in the UN preliminary list as the tangible cultural heritage of the world and the traditional craft of Luzhou LaoJiao brewing as the intangible heritage of the world;

2. Origin
The distillery dates back to 1573, in the Ming Dynasty, and is the world's oldest continuously producing baijiu distillery. It was listed on the first "national intangible cultural heritage list" in 2006. 5. Characteristics
Luzhou LaoJiao is a complex and premium class of the "strong scent" (nóngxiāng) class. It is a strongly alcoholic (over 50% alcohol) clear liquid with a sharp aroma of fermented peaches. It is fermented in old cellars (fermentation), the walls of which are coated with a unique clay composition that gives the spirit its aroma and palate.
Luzhou has a mild climate with temperature extremes from -1 to +40 °C, and annual rainfall from 750 to 1615 mm. This climate is ideal for the local quality of soft grains and microbial groups.
